Feral Cat Assistance

We're reducing Humboldt's homeless cat population by spaying and neutering stray and feral cats. We understand the importance of managing feral cat colonies in order to keep cats safe and healthy  Most feral cats that come through our clinic are also in desperate need of basic health care, such as flea, parasite and ear mite treatment, wound care, and vaccinations; all of these treatments are included in the cost. Click here for more information about our feral cat package.

Trap Neuter Return

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a method for humanely and effectively reducing feral cat populations. The cats are trapped, sterilized and vaccinated, then returned to their home locations where they are fed and monitored by caretakers. New cats are immediately trapped and altered to prevent breeding. We offer a humane trap loan program for community members. On occasion, we can line up transportation trapping assistance. Learn more here
