The Trinidad Colony!

Early 2025, HSNC was approached by multiple government agencies about a large colony of cats on a property of a single family home. The cats were out of control, none of them were fixed, and they were becoming a real problem. The agencies that contacted us made pledges to assist in the project of approx. 60-80 cats, we gave the info to some of our volunteer trappers, and by the end of January we had started our newest project!
12 months later, and we have spayed/neutered over 100 cats from the Trinidad Colony! Alongside getting all of them fixed, majority of the cats were ill and needed treatments for severe upper respiratory infections. Some of them were too sick for surgery and were fostered by volunteers until they were able to get fixed.
Unfortunately, our largest pledges for this project did not end up contributing to this colony so we have solely been relying on donations from our community. There are still a few cats up at he property so we are still asking the community in assistance with this colony. We have been working on this colony for a year now and we are so grateful to all the contributions that have made this life saving project a possibility.
