Recently, we have installed two more medical-grade dog kennels for our dog-recovery room. This area is critical for providing a safe and clean environment for dogs to recover from surgery and other procedures.

Looking around at any Veterinary hospital, dental procedures on both dogs and cats always tend to be one of the more expensive things parents pay for. Thanks to our continuous expansion with the help of our amazing community of donors, we have been honored to add an affordable dental program to our services!

We are thrilled to announce that a generous donor has given HSNC the privilege of having our own in-house diagnostics lab! For years, we have been mailing out our labs and waiting sometimes days for results. It also means we can’t do a lot of same-day procedures, and pets and their parents have to come in for multiple appointments for one procedure. For the safety of patients, we also limit some of our services because we don’t have access to same-day results.

After the large number of storms in 2023-2024, we decided it was time to upgrade and ditch the leaky roof. We started a GoFundMe, sent letters, got a feature in the newspaper, and appeared on the local news! Thanks to all our donors, big and small, we were able to raise $30,000 to replace the entire roof of the clinic!

We are so grateful to a generous donor for helping us upgrade to energy-efficient, fully functional windows!! The windows are improving air circulation, temperature control, and mold reduction—they’re just beautiful to have!
