Your donations in action! This is why your donations matter and are so greatly appreciated!
A pair of elderly neighbors contacted the clinic for some help with a few ferals in their neighborhood. They've watched the population triple in the last 18 months and wanted to help but both could not physically trap or transport the cats, nor afford getting them all fixed. Hearing about our TNR program and knowing it was the best option, they gave us a call. After connecting them to a local volunteer, the cats starting flowing in!
This poor guy came in and we bet he sure is happy he got trapped! He had severely matted fur, broken toenails, no teeth, completely infested with fleas, and covered in scars from past fights. We brushed out all his mats, got him vaccinated, flea treated, examined by the Doctor, and neutered. Once he wakes up he will be so much happier and once his hormones level out, he'll be able to focus on living his best life and NOT fighting every other male on the block!
