Remember sweet, sick, lonely Oinky? The kitten that was found wandering an abandoned lot in Eureka? We are so happy to say that not long after we took him in and treated him, he was almost immediately adopted! Oinky is THRIVING now with 1 older sibling, and a mom who he bonded with the second they got home. We are so happy he is living his absolute best life and we cannot wait to watch him grow! Recently, we have installed two more medical-grade dog kennels for our dog-recovery room. This area is critical for providing a safe and clean environment for dogs to recover from surgery and other procedures.

Looking around at any Veterinary hospital, dental procedures on both dogs and cats always tend to be one of the more expensive things parents pay for. Thanks to our continuous expansion with the help of our amazing community of donors, we have been honored to add an affordable dental program to our services!

We are thrilled to announce that a generous donor has given HSNC the privilege of having our own in-house diagnostics lab! For years, we have been mailing out our labs and waiting sometimes days for results. It also means we can’t do a lot of same-day procedures, and pets and their parents have to come in for multiple appointments for one procedure. For the safety of patients, we also limit some of our services because we don’t have access to same-day results.
